Shadow Boxing 2: Rematch

Five years passed, four of which Artyom spent in custody. American boxing manager Michael once again makes Artyom an offer to arrange a rematch with Larry Palmer, who is now the absolute world champion and the owner of three belts. Suddenly Artyom agrees. He moves to the USA and starts training, and soon Vika comes to him.

Artyom conducts several successful battles and triumphantly moves to the battle for the title of absolute champion. The date of the battle has already been set, but at this time an emergency occurs. Caesar, one of the boxers from the gym where Artyom is training, who disliked him from the very beginning, provokes Artyom into a fight, as a result of which Artyom sends him into a deep knockout . Without leaving a coma, Caesar dies. It turns out that his father is Felix Mendes, an influential mafiosi and the head of the drug cartel . He vows to kill Artyom, avenging the death of his son. After an attack at night on their apartment, Artyom sends Vika to Moscow, but at the airport she is taken hostage by the men of Mendes. Artyom has three days to rescue Vika from captivity and himself to die for Mendes.

Lawyer Julia, working with Michael, gets a dossier on Mendes, from which Artyom learns that Mendes was once a colleague of Vagit Valiev, but then quarreled with him. Valiev is imprisoned near Vladimir, and Artyom arrives in Moscow and asks Colonel Nechaev to stage Valiev’s escape, so that he, in turn, helps the colonel go to Mendes. During Valiev’s escape, his people arrange a shootout with the people of the colonel, as a result of which Artyom and the wounded Valiev hide alone and come to the United States under false names.

Valiev, having promised Artyom to neutralize Mendes, actually surrenders him to Mendes, and Artyom is brought to the same cell where they keep Vika. However, Valiev receives a photograph on his phone, which shows that his son Fyodor (who lives in the USA) was also taken hostage, and as a result they release him in exchange for Fyodor Artyom. Artyom manages to weigh, but he is badly beaten and doctors do not recommend him to participate in the battle.

However, the next day, Artyom fights against Larry Palmer and wins in a grueling battle, becoming the champion. He realizes that now nothing prevents Mendes from killing him, and returns home, expecting death. However, when Mendes comes with his people, his assistant Manuel kills him. It becomes clear that he did this on the orders of Valiev. Manuel becomes the head of the cartel. Artyom returns to Moscow and meets Vika again, making her an offer.

Most of the tracks for the soundtrack were written by Alexei Shelygin . The music for the main action scenes of the film was created by the Newtone project. The original soundtrack of the film, published by M2, included 4 songs of the group: Run !!!!, Contabele , Marrakesh Slam and Roadway , which later appeared on Newtone 's debut album “ No Copyrights ”. Also in the film sounds the music of CENTR , " Band`Eros ", Ivan Smirnov , Brooks Bufford , Underbiz , " Slot ".
