Biography
He was born on October 14, 1922 in the village of Handa, now in the Kazachinsko-Lena district, Irkutsk region, in a peasant family. Russian. He graduated from 7 classes. He worked as a secretary of the editorial office of the regional newspaper "October Road" in the district committee of the Komsomol.
In the Red Army since September 1941. In 1942 he graduated from the Chernigov Military Engineering School. In the battles of World War II from October 1942. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1943.
In March 1944, when crossing the Dniester, R. G. Ivanov was wounded and died in the hospital from his wounds on July 16, 1944. He was buried in the capital of Azerbaijan - the city of Baku .
