Biography
In 1975 he graduated from the Tyumen Industrial Institute with a degree in Technology of Basic Organic and Petrochemical Synthesis. After graduation, he was sent for distribution to the city of Salavat, where he joined the Salavat Petrochemical Plant; he has gone from an apparatchik (installation manager, workshop manager, deputy and chief engineer of a plant, director of a refinery) to the general director of Salavatnefteorgsintez OJSC. The total length of service at the plant was 21 years (1975-1995, 1997-1998).
In the period from 1997 to 1999 he worked as the General Director of OJSC Salavatnefteorgsintez .
During this period, a phthalic anhydride scaling unit, a VEMKO industrial waste water treatment unit, a synthesis gas and industrial hydrogen production unit were commissioned at the enterprise. A book on the history of the Combine Plant has been published (authors Poteryakhin V. A., Fakhreev N. K., Zykina R. F.).
After dismissal from the plant, since 1999 he worked as deputy general director of CJSC Neftepererabotchik ( Salavat , Republic of Bashkortostan).
In 2002, he was appointed General Director of Astrakhangazprom LLC [1] , where he worked until 2005.
From October 2005 to August 2006, he worked as an adviser to the Chairman of the Board of AK GP Gazprombank.
From 2006 to 2010, he was General Director of Astrakhan Oil and Gas Company.
In 2006, he was elected to the fourth convocation of the State Duma of the Astrakhan Region from the United Russia party. He was a member of the committee of the Duma of the Astrakhan region on industrial policy, entrepreneurship, tourism and trade. Member of the United Russia Faction.
He was awarded the honorary title of Veteran of Labor. After retiring, he returned to live in Salavat.
