Geography
The village is located 11 km east of Kameshkovo .
History
Before the revolution, the village was the center of Makarikhinsky volost of Vladimir district , since 1924 - as part of the Second Volost . In 1859 [2] there were 64 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 152 yards, in 1926 [4] - 199 households.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Makarikh village council of the Kovrovsky district , since 1940 - as part of the Koverinsky village council of the Kameshkovsky district , since 1959 - as part of the Sergeikhinsky village council , and since 2005 - of the Sergeyikhinsky municipality .
