Biography

Born in the village of Khorly of the Dnieper county of the Tauride province (now Kalanchak district { Kherson region Ukraine ) on April 4 (or October) 1908 in the family of a small employee.

After graduating from high school, he worked as a loader in the port, a worker at various factories in Odessa . Graduated from Odessa Medical Institute (1935).

Member of the Soviet-Finnish and World War II . He was awarded the Order of the Red Star and medals.

He worked as the head of the neurological department of the Kherson regional hospital, regional neuropathologist.

Since 1952 - a professional writer. Member of the Union of Writers of the USSR . Member of the Union of Writers of Ukraine since 1962.

One of the founders of the regional literary association, whose work was headed by a long time.

He died on December 28, 1980.

Creativity

He began to print in 1945 with the publication of poems, articles, and essays.

The main theme of creativity is biology , medicine , the work of scientists.

The author of the novels “Winged Medicine” (1952), “The Hypnotron of Professor Brailov” (1962), the novels “The Surgeon Aleksey Korepanov” (1957), “The Chief Physician” (1966), “The Captain of the Flagship” (1977) and a number of essays.

The plot of the science fiction novel Hypnotron of Professor Brailov (1962) is an invention by a Soviet scientist of an apparatus that lulls to sleep at a distance.

The novel “Captain of the Flagship” is dedicated to production topics - its action takes place at a large shipyard .
