Origin and history of titles
The name Rastorguevskaya street received no later than 1880 by the name of the Ural gold producer and hereditary honorary citizen of the city Yakov Ivanovich Rastorguev , whose dacha was located just outside the street towards the south (on the site of the modern Central Culture and Rest Park named after V. Mayakovsky ) . The street got its modern name in the 1930s [3] .
Location and landscaping
Street Weavers runs from east to west parallel to Bolshakov Street. It starts from the end of East Street and ends at the nameless bridge across the Iset River with access to the streets of Furmanov and Mashinnaya [1] [2] . The streets on the right are Michurin and Lunacharsky Streets. The length of the street is about 600 meters. The average width of the roadway is about 15 m (two lanes in each direction of movement). Along the even side of Tkachi Street there is a travel double (two lanes).
There are two traffic lights along the street; there are no unregulated pedestrian crossings . On both sides of the street is equipped with sidewalks and street lighting.
History
The street was outlined in the master plan of Ekaterinburg in 1804 , but prepared for construction by the plan of 1829 . To the south of the street was the haunting (dacha) of Ya. I. Rastorgueva, who occupied a vast forest area along the Iset River. On the territory of the dacha there was a small artificial pond of the paper factory of merchants Kazantsev, created in the first quarter of the XIX century on the small river Sukhoi, flowing out of the swamp. The Kazantsev factory existed here at the beginning of the 1820s, and already at the end of the decade a vodka factory of the Polkov surveyor worked here (by 1845 he did not operate). Zaimka Rastorguev was surrounded by a ditch and a shaft, on top of which a fence walked. Along the Rastorguevskaya Zaimka, along the street of the same name, there was a road from Yekaterinburg in the direction of the cloth factory of the Zlokazov Brothers (located at the confluence of the Black River into the Iset River) [3] .
According to the results of the 1887 city census , there were only four households with wooden one-story houses on Rastorguevskaya Street, two of which belonged to burgher M. Ikonnikov and V. M. Bashmakov, and two to retired soldiers N. I. Ivanov and T. A. Abramov. In the middle part of the street, at the junction with Observatorskaya Street , there was a water well. A small square of the same name appeared on Rastorguevskaya Street [3] .
For many decades, Rastorguevskaya Street was a suburban street of the south-eastern part of the city. It was the end of the streets Vasentsovskoy (modern Lunacharsky), Kuznechnaya and Lugovoy (currently exits are blocked), as well as 2nd East Street (now Vostochnaya Street) [3] .
In 2010, the street was built up with multi-storey and high-rise residential buildings, as well as office buildings.
