Biography
He worked as a link collective farm named after K.E. Voroshilov Yangiyul district of Tashkent region of the Uzbek SSR [1] .
In 1947, N. Niyazov proposed a new method of irrigation of cotton plantations. Having obtained for the experiment a dump site of gray earth on loesslike loam, consisting of knolls, twists and hollows, together with his link of irrigators he cut special, temporary irrigation furrows, due to which it became possible to spend less water, improve its absorption, protect the soil from siltation and salinization , significantly limit the cultivation of cotton . In the first year, Niyazov’s unit collected 87 centners of raw cotton per hectare - three times more than was required by the state collective farm agreement.
Niyazov’s method was also adopted by other cotton farms of the republic. On April 27, 1948, for creating the innovative method, Nazarali Niyazov was awarded the title Hero of Socialist Labor , and later, in 1951 , he was awarded the Stalin Prize .
