Language Regions of Switzerland
The Romansh Switzerland ( German Rätoromanische Schweiz , romance. Rumantschia ) is a language region in Switzerland along with the German , French and Italian regions . Together with the last two, it is included in the so-called Latin Switzerland . The territory of the region covers part of the canton of Graubünden , where German is also spoken in its Swiss version . The language of the speakers is Romansh (according to article 70 of the Swiss Constitution , it is officially authorized in the canton). The number of Romansh speakers does not exceed 40,000 people (0.5% of the Swiss population ).
