Embassy
The main task of the Ukrainian Embassy in Islamabad is to represent the interests of Ukraine, to promote the development of political, economic, cultural, scientific and other ties, as well as to protect the rights and interests of citizens and legal entities of Ukraine that are located in Pakistan.
The Embassy contributes to the development of interstate relations between Ukraine and Pakistan at all levels in order to ensure the harmonious development of mutual relations, as well as cooperation on issues of mutual interest.
History of Diplomatic Relations
The Islamic Republic of Pakistan recognized the independence of Ukraine on December 31, 1991. On March 16, 1992, diplomatic relations were established between Ukraine and Pakistan [1] . From January 1998, the Embassy of Ukraine in Islamabad began its work.
