The Kurin news ( Lezg. Kureredin Khabarar [1] ) is a socio-political newspaper of the Suleiman-Stalsky district of Dagestan in Lezgi . The publication covers the events taking place in the Suleiman-Stalsky district, and also popularizes the local cultural identity.

History

The newspaper "Kyuredin Khabarar" was founded in 1931 under the name "Kolkhozdin Paidakh" ( Russian collective farm banner ). Then the name changed repeatedly - “Communismdin gatfar” ( Russian. Spring of Communism ), “Halkdin gaf” ( Russian. Word of the people ). [2] From 1931 to 1951, the newspaper was the printed organ of the Kasumkent , Khiva and Agul RK of the CPSU and the district executive committees, deputies, and workers. Until 1938, it was published in Latin. The publication has got its current name since October 2001 . [3] Since 2009, the chief editor of the newspaper is Anvar Mimetov. [2]

On October 22, 2011, ceremonies were held dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the newspaper. [four]

The newspaper “Kyuredin Khabarar” is a municipal unitary enterprise and a printing organ of the municipality “Suleiman-Stalsky District” of the Republic of Dagestan. [5] Published in the district center - the village of Kasumkent weekly on Thursdays in the Lezgi language . The newspaper covers the socio-political and economic life of the region, talks about the culture and traditions of the region. In Russian, the newspaper prints the texts of municipal regulations.
