Beryllium isotopes are varieties of the chemical element of beryllium having different neutron contents in the nucleus . 12 isotopes of beryllium are known.
7 Be Concentration in Northern Hemisphere Precipitation
The only stable isotope is 9 Be; its natural isotopic abundance is 100%. Thus, beryllium is almost a monoisotopic element . Also in trace amounts are 7 Be and 10 Be, arising in the atmosphere as a result of nuclear reactions induced by cosmic radiation .
