General Information
The Andomsky district as part of the Lodeinopolsky district of the Leningrad region was formed in August 1927 from 18 village councils of the Andomsky volost and 1 s / s of the Chernoslobodsky volost of the Lodeinopolsky district of the Leningrad province .
In total, 19 s / s were formed: Andomogorsky, Andomoretsky, Verkhovsky, Zamoshsky, Kupetsky, Kurzhezhsky, Ladozersky, Nasonovsky, Nizovsky, Osinovsky, Pyatnitsky, Seredsky, Slobodsky, Soydinsky, Soydozersky, Titovsky, Tsiminsky, Chekshezersky, Yugozersky, Soydozersky, Titovsky, Tsiminsky, Chekshezersky, Yugozersky, Soydozersky, Titovsky, Tsiminsky, Chekshezersky, Yugozershy.
In November 1928, the Pyatnitsky, Soydozersky, Chekshesersky and Yugozersky s / s were abolished. In 1932, the Soydinsky Village Council was transferred to the Kovzhinsky District of the Vologda Region, and in 1934 it was returned back.
September 23, 1937 Andomsky district was transferred to the Vologda region.
On October 17, 1957, the Andomsky District was abolished, and its territory was transferred to the Vytegorsky District .
