Early life
Erin Gray was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. [3] When Gray was eight years old, her parents divorced, and she began to live with her grandmother in Palm Springs for the next several years [4] . In the end, she and her mother moved to California, where she studied at Redwood High School , and then at the Palisades Charter High School [4] .
Career
In 1965, at the age of fifteen, Erin Gray began her modeling career at one of the Hollywood agencies. She achieved some success as a model and by 1975 her annual fee was more than $ 100,000 per year [4] . In 1978, she appeared in the television movie Evening in Byzantium, for which she received good reviews from critics, after which Universal Studios offered the actress a seven-year contract. The following year, she received the main female role in the television series " Buck Rogers in the XXV Century " [5] .
After the series ended, Erin Gray starred in the movie Gang of Six with Kenny Rogers , who failed at the box office. In 1982, she got the lead role in the comedy series Silver Spoons, which lasted five seasons and ended in 1987. After its completion, she continued to appear on television in TV shows such as The Hotel , She wrote The Murder , and Los Angeles Law , and starred in several films, the most famous of which was probably Last Friday.
