It is a part of the Yargomzhsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - into the Yargomzhsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Cherepovets is 16 km, to the center of the Botovo municipal unit - 1 km. The nearest settlements are Borisovo , Botovo , Mostovaya .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 41 people (16 men, 25 women). The predominant nationality is Russians (98%) [2] .
