It is part of the Yargomzh rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative-territorial division - the Yargomzh village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Cherepovets is 22 km, to the center of the municipality of Botovo - 8 km. The nearest settlements are Selivanovo , Avdeevskaya , Ramenye .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 138 people (76 men, 62 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (85%) [2] .
