It is part of the Yaganovsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Yaganovsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Cherepovets is 40 km, to the center of the municipality of Yaganovo - 10 km. The nearest settlements are Ugryumovo , Gorka , Umlyanda .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 35 people (15 men, 20 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (97%) [2] .
