It is part of the Nikolo-Ramensky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - the Nikolo-Ramensky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Cherepovets is 80 km, to the center of the municipality of Nikolo-Ramenya - 10 km. The nearest settlements are Zarechye , Buzakovo , Pustoshka .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 71 people (35 men, 36 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (93%) [2] .
