It is part of the Korotovsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Korotovsky village council.
The distance to the district center of Cherepovets by road is 72 km, to the center of the municipality of Korotovo in a straight line - 2 km. The nearest settlements are Sosnovka , Anfalovo , Katilovo , Uloma , Zarechye .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 17 people [2] .
Hero of the Soviet Union Vasily Malygin was born in the village.
