It is part of the Korotovsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Korotovsky village council.
The distance to the district center of Cherepovets by road is 61 km, to the center of the municipality of Korotovo in a straight line - 14 km. The nearest settlements are Ryazan , Akinkhovo , and Elekhovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 47 people (23 men, 24 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
