It is part of the Yagnitsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Yagnitsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Cherepovets is 135 km, to the center of the municipality of Yagnitsa - 25 km. The nearest settlements are Losha , Ramene , Glinskoe .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 107 people (50 men, 57 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (97%) [2] .
