It is part of the Yagnitsky rural settlement [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - in the Yagnitsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Cherepovets is 160 km, to the center of the municipality of Yagnitsa - 50 km. The nearest settlement is Losha .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 109 people (52 men, 57 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (94%) [3] .
