It is part of the Abakanovsky rural settlement [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Abakanovsky village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Cherepovets is 51 km, to the center of the municipality of Abakanovo - 9 km. The nearest settlements are Kuksino , Oseevskaya , Demyanka .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 5 people [2] .
