It is a part of the Abakanovsky rural settlement [1] , from the point of view of administrative and territorial division - into the Abakanovsky Village Council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Cherepovets is 50 km, to the center of the municipal entity Abakanovo - 7 km. The nearest settlements are Ruzhbovo , Sumino , Zhdanovskaya .
According to the 2002 census, the population was 34 people (14 men, 20 women). The entire population is Russian [2] .
