It is part of the Yugsky rural settlement (from January 1, 2006 to April 8, 2009 it was part of the Surkovsky rural settlement) [1] [2] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division , it was part of the Surkovsky village council.
The distance to the district center of Cherepovets by road is 40 km, to the center of the municipality of New Domozerov in a straight line - 13 km. The nearest settlements are Minino , Zarechka , Ochenikovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 32 people (15 men, 17 women). The entire population is Russian [3] .
