Cemetery on Sienkiewicz Street ( Polish. Cmentarz przy ul. Henryka Sienkiewicza ) is a historical cemetery located in the city of Katowice , Poland . Famous Polish cultural, art and science figures are buried in the cemetery.

History
The cemetery was founded in 1911 and is the property of the Catholic parish of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul .
Before World War II, a modernist-style Catholic chapel was built in the cemetery.
In 1983, the cemetery was expanded and it began to consist of old and new parts.
