Representative of the Sakovich clan coat of arms "Pomian" , the eldest son of the governor of the Trox, Andrei Sakovich . The younger brothers are Yuri and Nikolai.
First mentioned in 1454 , when during the battle of Chojnice, he was captured by the Teutonic crusaders.
