Svalyavska group of resorts ( Ukrainian: Svalyavska group of resorts ) is a group of balneological resorts in the Transcarpathian region of Ukraine , located north of the city of Svalyava , in the valley of the Pinya River.
This group includes about 100 sources of carbonic mineral water , in particular the resorts: Kvitka Poloniny (Luzhanskaya water), Polyana (Polyana Kvasova water), Sunny Transcarpathia (Polyana Kvasova water) and the resort area Ploskoye (water “ Ploskovskaya "). Mineral water bottling plant operates in the village of Polyana.
History
The certificates of the Hungarian king mention that mineral water was used as a canteen back in 1463 . Since the second half of the XIX century in the village there were three workshops for bottling mineral water. Subsequently, it began to be used to treat certain diseases of the stomach. The sources were in the possession of Count Schönborn, [1] who leased them to money lenders. From 1842 to 1911, the water "Polyana Kvasova" was noted 21 times at international competitions as one of the best mineral waters in Central Europe . Along with Polyana Kvasova, Luzhanskaya was in great demand in the European market. This water is also awarded with many diplomas and awards. [2]
