History
Russo-Japanese War
Formed in 1903 in Ryazan on the basis of a frame separated from the 137th Infantry Regiment of Nezhinsky , with the addition of spare parts from the Ryazan province. Participated in the battles of the Russo-Japanese War. At the end of the war, disbanded.
World War I
Formed in the composition of 4 battalions on July 18, 1914 in Ryazan from a frame (19 officers and 280 lower ranks), separated from the 137th Infantry Regiment of Nezhinsky, with the addition of spare ones. Commander Colonel Dyakonov, Chief of Staff Lt. Col. Setipkhanov.
In August 1914, he participated in the East Prussian operation as part of the 2nd Army Corps of the 1st Army of the Northwest Front . At the end of August 1914, he suffered heavy losses in rear-guard battles when the corps left the village. Kutten and the city of Angerapp to the river. Sludze at the final stage of the second part of the East Prussian operation. On September 7, 1914, a regiment consisting of 12 officers and 324 lower ranks was disbanded to replenish other regiments of the corps.
