Look Sharp!

The disc was recorded at EMI Studios in Stockholm from March to August 1988 , as well as at Trident II Studios in London in June 1988 . This is Roxette's breakthrough album, featuring songs like The Look , Dressed for Success, Dangerous, and Listen to Your Heart, which were released as singles and have become popular hits worldwide.

The album includes 13 songs, but on the record and on the cassette the song “(I Could Never) Give You Up” was excluded.

The cover shows Marie and Per breaking through a crowd of fans in order to get into a black Cadilac limousine. For the popular duo to get into the car, the police took 25 minutes to clear the way. In Germany, the album was released in a limited edition on a record plate with a picture (picture LP) and on a CD with a picture (picture CD). These editions are the first discs with pictures from Roxette.

The name “Look Sharp!” Was first used by Joe Jackson on his 1979 album , but Per Gessle thought it was a great name and decided that Roxette should use the same name for his album.
