“ WALL-E ” ( born WALL-E ) is an American computer animated, science fiction film of 2008, created by Pixar Animation Studios . The film premiered in the USA and Canada on June 27, 2008. The picture collected 23.1 million dollars on the first day of rental and 63 million for the first week, taking first place in the list of the highest grossing films of the week [1] . As of 2012, the film has raised $ 223,808,164 in the United States and 521,311,860 worldwide [2] . WALL-E was well received by critics, receiving a 96% rating on the Rotten Tomatoes website [3] .

The film received many nominations for various awards, including seven nominations for " Annie ", six for " Oscar " and two for " Golden Globe ". At the Annie Award Ceremony, WALL-I lost in all categories to the Kung Fu Panda cartoon [4] . At the 81 Oscars, the film won the Best Animated Film category, but lost the nominations for Best Movie Song , Best Film Music , Best Sound Editing , Best Sound , and Best Original Screenplay " [5] . The film was named the best-in-category best film by the Boston Film Critics Society [6] , the Chicago Film Critics Association [7] , central Ohio Film Critics Association [8] , the American Online Film Critics Association [9] and the Los Angeles Film Critics Association , where WALL-E »Became the first ever animated film to win in this category [10] . It was also the first animated film to win the Best Feature Film Editing category, according to the American Guild of Editors [11] . The character WALL-E in the online poll of Empire magazine ranked 63rd among the 100 best movie characters [12] . Time magazine put WALL-I in first place among the top 10 films of 2008 [13] , and in early 2010 called it “the best film of the decade” [14] .
