Grand Rond ( English Grande Ronde River ) - a river in the northeast of Oregon and southeast of Washington , USA . Left tributary of the Snake River . The length is 293 km [2] ; the basin area is about 10 697 km² [3] .

It originates in the southwest of Union County, Oregon, near the Blue Mountains ridge, on the territory of the Wallow-Whiteman National Forest, about 32 km south of the city of La Grand. It flows first to the north, along the ridge, then turns east, flows through the La Grande, after which it flows mainly in the north-east direction, between the Blue Mountains and Wallowa ridges. East of La Grande takes in the tributary of Katherine Creek. About 16 km northwest of Minam, the Wallowa River flows into the Grand Rond. It continues to flow to the northeast, near the town of Troy, south of the border with Washington, and receives a tributary of Wenach. It flows through the extreme southeast of Washington State and flows into Snake, 8 km north of the Oregon border. Approximately 3.2 km above its mouth, the Joseph Creek tributary takes.
