Biography

Born March 15, 1854. He received his primary education at the 1st St. Petersburg Military Gymnasium (the former 1st Cadet Corps), after which he was admitted to the Mikhailovsky Artillery School on August 11, 1871.

He was released on August 10, 1874 as an ensign into the 6th Horse Artillery Brigade and on November 26 of the same year he was promoted to second lieutenant .

In 1877-1878, Zhabyko took part in the campaign against the Turks in the Balkans , for military distinctions he was promoted to lieutenant (with seniority of August 10, 1877).

On May 15, 1883, he was promoted to headquarters captain , on February 4, 1891, to be captains, and on July 28, 1896, with production as lieutenant colonel , he was appointed commander of the 8th Horse Artillery General Yermolov battery. On October 12, 1901 he was appointed commander of the 2nd equestrian artillery battery.

Produced on May 3, 1904 as Colonel Zabyko at the head of the 10th Horse-Artillery Division, he left for the Far East , where he fought with the Japanese . March 29, 1905 he was awarded a golden weapon with the inscription "For courage . "

At the end of the war, Zabyko from May 22, 1905 was at the disposal of the Main Artillery Directorate, on March 13, 1906 he became the head of the 11th horse artillery division, and from November 2, 1908 he commanded the 1st horse artillery division.

On July 25, 1910, Zabyko was promoted to major general and appointed commander of the 18th artillery brigade.

He died in early 1912, is excluded from the lists on March 28.
