The coat of arms was approved by Resolution No. 16 of the Assembly of Deputies of the Zharkovsky District of the Tver Region on March 30, 2001 . [one]
The emblem is entered in the State Heraldic Register of the Russian Federation under registration number 713.
Content
Emblem Description
“The green and azure shield is divided by a thin wavy silver belt; in a green field, a flying golden owl , stretching both paws to the right; in the azure field - five (three and two) golden with green petals of cranberry flowers ”.
Symbolization Justification
The coat of arms of Zharkovsky district reflects the nature of the forest land.
Green field - the wealth of forests; cranberries - wealth of cranberries.
White wavy strip - symbolizes the river Mezhu , flowing through the entire territory of the district.
The attacking owl symbolizes - solitude, remoteness, wisdom and speed of reaction.
History of coat of arms
The coat of arms of the region was developed with the assistance of the Union of Heralds of Russia .
