The village is located near the administrative border with the Tver region , on the Valdai Upland , at an altitude of 148 m above sea level [4] , to the northwest of the village of Verkhny Apolets , which is part of the Aksenov rural village (Tver region) .

In the village there is a post office, a shop of the Kholmsky Raipo [5] , a feldsher-midwife station [6] .

History

In the list of populated areas of the Demyansky district of the Novgorod province for 1909, the village of Apolets, the village of Apolets (Voronya Krylo) and the churchyard Apolec are indicated as belonging to the Velilla volost of the county. The population of the village of Apolets, which was then on the land of both the Akulovsky Rural Society and other persons - 67 inhabitants: men - 26, women - 41, the number of residential buildings - 13. In the village of Apolets (Voronya Krylo), which was then on the land of Akulovsky of rural society, there were 28 inhabitants (11 men, 17 women), there were 6 residential buildings. On the Apolec graveyard, which was then on church land, there were 21 residents (11 men and 10 women), 4 buildings (in including residential - 3). [7] . In the 19th century, a stone church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God was built on the Apolec graveyard [8] . There was also a school on the churchyard and there were malls where annual fairs were held on May 9 (22) and December 6 (19) . In the village of Apolets (Vorone’s Wing) there were two schools - the Zemstvo and the parish , two shops. An annual fair was held in the village on July 8 (21) . In the village of Apolets there was a church, a feldsher’s point, a zemstvo horse station, two small shops and a state-owned wine shop. [7] There was also the Nikolskaya Manor Church in the village of Voronya Kryl in Apoltsy, which used to be the center of the center of the estate, founded in 1487 ... 1495. [9]

The population of the village according to the census of 1926 is 161 people. Until July 31, 1927, the village as part of the Velilla volost of the Demyansky district of the Novgorod province of the RSFSR , and then from August 1, as part of the Apolecky village council of the newly formed Molvotitsky district of the Novgorod district of the Leningrad region [10] . By order of the Central Executive Committee and the Council of People's Commissars of the USSR of July 23, 1930, the Novgorod District was abolished, and the district became directly subordinate to the Leningrad Executive Committee. From September 6, 1941 to 1942 ... 1943 Molvotitsky district was occupied by Nazi troops [11] . By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of February 19, 1944, the district center of the Molvotitsky district was transferred from the village of Molvotitsy to the village of Marevo . By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of July 5, 1944, the Novgorod Region was formed and the Molvotitsky District became part of it.

During the failed all-Union reform on dividing into rural and industrial areas and party organizations [12] , in accordance with the decisions of the November (1962) plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU "on the restructuring of the party leadership of the national economy" from December 10, 1962 were formed, among others, large Demyansk and Kholmsky rural areas, and on February 1, 1963, the administrative Molvotitsky district was abolished. The Apoletsky village council then became part of the Kholmsky rural area. The plenum of the Central Committee of the CPSU, held on November 16, 1964, reinstated the former principle of party leadership in the national economy, after which, by a decree of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of January 12, 1965, rural areas were re-transformed into administrative districts and by the decision of the Novgorod Oblast Executive Committee No. 6 of January 14, 1965 and the Apoletsky Village Council and a village in the Kholmsky district. By the decision of the Novgorod Oblast Executive Committee No. 300 dated August 25, 1983, the center of the Apoletsky Village Council from the village of Apolets was transferred to the village of Todzhi transferred from the Kamensky Village Council [11] .

Until 1990, there was a school in the village of Apolets [13] , which was then transferred to Troja. The Apoleck Church of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God since 1991 was transferred to believers and is active, despite its condition and is now being restored [8] .

According to the results of the municipal reform, the village is part of the municipality - the Todogo rural settlement of the Kholmsky municipal district ( local government ), according to the administrative-territorial structure, it is subordinated to the administration of the Todogo rural settlement of the Kholmsky district [2] .
