Biography

Born in 1781. He served in the Don Cossack regiments.

In 1812 he took part in repelling the advance of the Napoleonic army in Russia , for the difference he was awarded the Order of St. Anne of the 3rd degree (subsequently renamed to 4th degree). Then, in 1813-1814, he was in a foreign campaign .

At the end of the Napoleonic Wars, Studenikin served in the Caucasus and, being a military foreman and a member of the Don Cossack Shamshev regiment, took part in the campaign against Turkey . In the battle of Deguren, he temporarily commanded the Don Cossack Leonov 1st Regiment and on June 25, 1830, for the difference in this battle, he was awarded the Order of St. George 4th degree

 In the battle at the village. Digure, on June 1, 1829, with great courage, led the regiment against an excellent enemy, regardless of the disadvantages of location, overturned the cavalry and infantry, and gave the first aid to the detachment of Colonel Hoffmann , cramped into ten strongest enemy. In the battle on June 2, at the village. Chaborii, showed excellent courage and order, contributed much to the success of the whole battle and was the reason for the repulsion of two guns from the enemy. 

On July 2, 1830, Studenikin was promoted to lieutenant colonel . In 1839, Studenikin was put on trial for an unexplained reason.

He died in 1844 in the village of Kochetovskaya on the Don.
