Temple history
In 1947, a wooden church was opened in the city of Ishimbay (located on Svoboda Street in the area of ββthe River Tayruk ), rebuilt from a private house, to which the altar part and the bell tower were attached [1] .
In 1988, under the rector, Father Valeria, Bishop Anatoly of Ufa and Sterlitamak consecrated a site for the construction of a new temple, located in the floodplain of the river Tayruk . The place was chosen poorly: during spills, the water came close to the foundation [2] . Vladimir Nikolaevich Polyakov , the former chairman of the executive committee of the Ishimbay city council , proposed a place for the construction of a temple located at the intersection of the Boulevard and Sovetskaya streets [3] . At the request of Father Sergius, Father Superior and with the blessing of the bishop of Ufa and Sterlitamak Nikon , this place was consecrated in May 1993 . In the summer of the same year, Father Sergius sanctified and laid a stone under the foundation of the temple [2] . The construction project was ordered and made in the Trinity-Sergius Lavra . Architect - Dmitry Sergeevich Sokolov [2] . The basis was taken Novgorod style XVI-XVII centuries [1] .
The land acquisition for construction was signed by the head of the administration of the city of Ishimbai, Yury V. Utkin , Archbishop Nikon consecrated the construction site.
In connection with the political and economic reforms carried out in the country in the 90s, the church was started to be built only in 2000 with donations from parishioners, thanks to the support of city enterprises [1] .
Vladimir Petrovich Davydov, head of the administration of the city of Ishimbay and the Ishimbay district, was particularly active in the construction. During this time, complex construction work was carried out in the temple: the vaults were blocked, the temple was plastered and painted from the inside and outside, and interior finishing works began. Donations from parishioners and wealthy Ishimbay residents were ordered, made and raised crosses and domes to the new temple. The frameworks for the domes were made by the village of Vasily (Anokhin) and the carpenter Nikolai Kozadoev. A team of roofers from the city of Volgodonsk came to cover the domes with nitro titanium coating. The crosses were ordered and brought from the Sofrinsky Patriarchal plant of the Church utensils of the Dome and the crosses were consecrated and raised at Easter Week 2003 [1] .
In 2004, the Orthodox Holy Trinity Church was open to worshipers [2] [1] . The building of the first church in the city now houses an Orthodox Sunday school [4] [5] .
In 2011, Orthodox parishes of the Russian Orthodox Church in the city of Ishimbay became part of the Salavat eparchy [6] .
On March 26, 2016, at the suggestion of journalist D. V. Nikulochkin, the head of the administration of the Ishimbay district, M. Kh. Gaysin, signed a decree on renaming the Parkovaya stop on Sovetskaya Street to Holy Trinity Church [7] , since the Boulevard Street had the same name stop [2] .
Memory
In 2016, a memorial dedicated to the Ishimbay clergy was opened near the temple [8] .
