Hadjiabad [1] [2] [3] ( pers. حاجی آباد ) is a city in southern Iran , in the province of Fars . The administrative center of Shahrestan Zerrindesht . According to the census, in 2006 the population was 18,346 people [3] .

Geography
The city is located in the southeastern part of Fars, in the highlands of southeastern Zagros , at an altitude of 1021 meters above sea level [1] . Hadjiabad is located approximately 225 kilometers southeast of Shiraz , the provincial capital and 855 kilometers southeast of Tehran , the capital of the country.
