In 1862, during the Köhne heraldic reform, a draft of the new coat of arms of the county town of Bezheck was developed (not officially approved):

“In a silver shield there are 3 green branches of raspberries with scarlet berries per pillar. In the free part, the emblem of the Tver province. The shield is crowned with a silver walled crown and is surrounded by golden ears of corn connected by the Alexander ribbon . ”

In the Soviet period, the Bezhetsk coat of arms (1780) was not used, but souvenir badges were issued depicting a new project of the Bezhetsk coat of arms (had no official approval), which looked like this: on a green field there is a wreath of blue flax flowers in the center of which on the red field is a golden gear , in the golden tip is the inscription “Bezhetsk” and the date “1137” (the date of the first mention of the Bezhetsk Territory in the Novgorod annals ).

On July 27, 1999, the coat of arms of the Bezhetsky region was approved, developed on the basis of the historical coat of arms of Bezhetsk and the design of the coat of arms of the Soviet period. In the coat of arms of the region, raspberry bush and flax flowers are complemented by a princely crown and two doves . The princely crown recalls the specific reign in the Bezhetsky Upper, and the pigeons - about the bird on the ancient coins minted here.

On October 24, 2006, the emblem of the city settlement Bezhetsk was approved, based on the historical emblem of Bezhetsk (1780).

The emblem of the urban settlement “Bezhetsk city” was compiled by the authors: the artist and computer design - O. V. Anisimova, the rationale for the symbolism - V. I. Lavrenov.
