Geographical position
The village of Krivtsovo is located on the western shore of Lake Krivtsovo, 10 km [3] northeast of the village of Mill , 9 km south of the city of Okulovka [4] .
The village of Krivtsovo is located on the Valdai Upland , in the northern part of the Valdai National Park . [five]
History
In 1773-1927 the village (estate) Krivtsovo was located in the Valdai district of the Novgorod province . From the beginning of the 19th century until 1918 and in 1919-1924 it belonged to the Borovensky volost of the Valdai district. [6] [7]
The village (estate) of Krivtsovo is marked on the maps of 1788 [8] , 1826-1840 [9] .
In 1908, in the village of Krivtsovo there were 20 courtyards with 19 houses and a population of 79 people. There was a chapel and estate of E. A. Shaposhnikova. [ten]
In 1918-1928, Krivtsovo was the center of the Krivtsovsky Village Council , which in 1927 became part of the newly formed Okulovsky District . [11] .
According to the 1926 census, the population of Krivtsovo is 106.
In 1928, the Krivtsovsky village council was abolished, and the village of Krivtsovo entered the Vargusovsky village council, with its center in the village of Vargusovo [12] .
In 1982, the Vargusovsky village council was abolished, and the village of Krivtsovo became part of the Turbine Village Council [12] .
