Stockholm Early Music Festival ( English Stockholm Early Music Festival ) is a music festival dedicated to music from antiquity to baroque, held annually in June in the Swedish capital Stockholm under the auspices of Queen Silvia .

The festival was first held in 2002 and since then has become the largest in Scandinavia and one of the most important events in the world in the field of early music. Over the years, musicians and musical groups from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Great Britain, the Netherlands, Austria, France, Italy, Belarus and Turkey took part in it. The duration of the festival is usually several days and does not exceed a week. Festival concerts are held in the building of the Royal Academy of Music, as well as in the Lutheran churches of Stockholm’s Old Town . The artistic director of the festival is composer, musicologist and vocalist Peter Pontvik.
