A rare subspecies Kachim Pinezhsky ( Gypsophila uralensis Less. Subsp. Pinegensis (Perfil.) R.Kam. ) Is listed in the Red Book of Russia . This subspecies of the Ural kachima is a narrow-local endemic of the Pinega River Basin, flowing in the Arkhangelsk region . Endangered due to recreational impact.
