Armand-Gaston Camus ( French Armand-Gaston Camus ; April 2, 1740 , Paris - November 2, 1804 , ibid.) - French lawyer, participant in the French Revolution , member of the Constituent Assembly and the Convention ; was arrested by a traitor General Dumourier , extradited to the Austrian authorities and imprisoned; later was a member of the Council of Five Hundred ; refused to swear allegiance to the Napoleonic regime.
