Kirillov, Taras Kirillovich

Taras Kirillovich Kirillov ( February 12, 1880 , village of Sesmera, Kazan province [1] - November 16, 1921 , village of Lysaya Gora , Nizhny Novgorod province [2] ) - Chuvash poet , publicist, translator. One of the most published poets of pre-revolutionary Chuvash literature.

Biography

He was born on February 12 (24), 1880 in the village of Sesmery, Yadrinsky district [1] . In 1899 he graduated from the Kazan teacher's seminary. In 1905 he graduated from the Kazan missionary courses. From 1899 to 1901 he worked as a teacher in the Yadrinsk city ​​parish school, from 1902 to 1903 in the Shikhazan second-class school. From 1905 to 1918 he was a clergyman in the villages of Chuvashia. In 1918 he moved to the village of Lysaya Gora and again began to teach.

Creativity

He began his literary work in 1903. He published about 20 books. Great influence on the poetry of T. Kirillov had the work of M. Yu. Lermontov .
