Geography
The village is located in the south of the Tamalinsky district, the distance to the district center of the village. Tamala - 11 km, to the center of the village council of Malaya Sergievka - 7 km. [2]
History
According to the research of the historian - local historian Poluboyarov M.S., the village was formed by landowners since the 19th century as part of the Repyevsky volost of the Balashov district of the Saratov province . In 1911, in the village - a zemstvo school, hospital, church, bazaar. Since 1926 - the center of the village council, since 1955 - in the Malosergievsky village council, then again the center of the village council [2] . According to the Law of the Penza Region No. 1992-ZPO of December 22, 2010, it was again transferred to the Malosergievsky Village Council. [3] In the 50s of the XX century - the central estate of the collective farm. A. A. Zhdanov, then until the 1990s - the central estate of the Kalinovsky farm [2] .
