Ten francs Berlioz is a French banknote issued by the Bank of France , a sketch of which was developed on November 23, 1972 and issued by the Bank of France from November 5, 1974 to December 31, 1980. She replaced the banknote ten francs Voltaire . September 15, 1986 she ceases to be legal tender. This is the last banknote of 10 francs.

Description
The authors of the banknote were Lucien Fontanarosa and the engravers Jacques Joubert (obverse) and Henri Renault (reverse). The dominant colors are orange and brown.
Obverse: portrait of Hector Berlioz, work by Emile Signol (1832), at the chapel of the Invalides in Paris , during the performance of a Requiem piece of music.
Reverse: portrait of Hector Berlioz, near the Villa Medici building in Rome . The background is the castle of St. Angel and St. Peter's Basilica in Rome. The watermark depicts a profile of Berlioz. The dimensions of the banknote are 140 mm x 76 mm [1] .
