It is part of the urban settlement of Chebsarskoe [1] , from the point of view of the administrative-territorial division - into the Chebsarsky council.
The distance by road to the district center of Sheksna is 22 km, to the center of the municipality of Chebsary - 3 km. The nearest settlements are Tolstikovo , Slavyanka , Chebsara .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 17 people [2] .
