It is part of the rural settlement of Churovsky [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Churovsky village council.
The distance by road to the regional center of Sheksna is 14 km, to the center of the municipality of Churovsky - 6 km. The nearest settlements are Demsino , Potrekichevo , Pakhomovo , Semkino , Yeltsovo , Kukino .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 10 people [2] .
Hero of the Soviet Union Alexey Sapozhnikov was born in the village.
