It is part of the rural settlement of Churovsky [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Churovsky village council.

The distance by road to the regional center of Sheksna is 13 km, to the center of the municipality of Churovsky - 4 km. The nearest settlements are Vasilievo , River Sosnovka , Myshkino .

According to the 2002 census, the population is 132 people (62 men, 70 women). The predominant nationality is Russian (95%) [2] .
