It is part of the rural settlement of Zheleznodorozhny [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Zheleznodorozhny village council.
The distance by road to the district center of Sheksna is 22 km, to the center of the municipality of Paci - 9 km. The nearest settlements are Shapkino , Stolupino , Pashnets .
According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population [2] .
