It is part of the rural settlement of Sizemsky [1] , in terms of administrative-territorial division - in the Sizemsky village council.
The distance to the Sheksna district center by road is 37.1 km, to the center of the Charomsky municipality in a straight line - 14 km. The nearest settlements are Pavlovskoye , Popovskoye , Syromyatkino , Pochinok , Yeremino , Artemyevo , Kuzminskoye , Davydkovo , Telibanovo .
According to the 2002 census, the population is 7 people [2] .
In the village of Solovarka there is the chapel of Blessed Xenia of Petersburg and the well of St. George the Victorious [3] .
